February 5, 2010 - Things started off well for the SER Team at Columbia Super Speedway with Rick taking the pole at over 223 mph.  Bob also posted a speed over 223 to take the outside pole and Ray qualified 4th.  From that point on things didn’t go quite as well.  Rick and Ray led the first 9 laps when the caution came out for an accident involving Brandon Searcy.  Ray and Rick pitted and although the replay of the race did not show it, Ray received a black flag for passing the pace car. Ray ever recovered from that point and did not lead the race again.  Later in the race when another caution came own Rick was hit from behind by Wayne Pribnow turning him and making contact with the wall.   Although Rick was able to continue like Ray his shot at the win was gone.  That left Bob to carry the flag which he did.  He ran with the leaders and as the race neared the end he was in position to take the win when he was discoed.  When the checkered flag fell the win went to Richard Hildebrand.   Rick managed to finish third but his points lead over Hildebrand fell to its lowest point of the season - just 21 points.  Bob came home 6th and Ray 9th.  NEXT WEEKS RACE:  Piggzport SS
