February 12, 2010 – The Screaming Eagle Race Team was well prepared for the Piggz race at Piggz Port Super Speedway. Rick’s qualifying speed of 222.160 was second only to the pole position master Steve Zaker’s 222.512. Rod qualified 3rd at 221.584, Bob forth at 221.088 and Rob 6th at 220.196. All four of the team drivers held the lead at one point in the race and managed to successfully dodge the accidents that brought out the caution flag 8 times. The first caution resulted in a three race final green flag run where all were in position for the win. Rick was leading, Rod second, Bob third and Rob fifth. On the last lap Steve Zaker made a charge to front and Rick, Rod and Bob did all they could to try to hold him off. However, as Zaker and Rick battled for the lead Rick touched the apron, came up the track making contact with Zaker. Although Rick managed to maintain control of his car he had to life which allowed three other drivers to pass him. One of those three was Rob who got the win! He was followed to the line by Richard Hildebrandt. Rick finished 4th, Rod 5th and Bob 6th. Hildebrandt’s second place finish allowed to him to close the points gap with Rick yet again.
